Who we are
Calvary Chapel is a Christian congregation in Conyers, Georgia, made up of families, students, singles, and seniors who live and work in Rockdale County and the communities around it. We are not a polished production — we are people who show up, open the Bible, sing, pray for one another, and try to love our neighbors the way Jesus loved us. Our aim is simple: to know God's Word well and to be a church where an outsider quickly stops feeling like one.

What we believe
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our final authority for faith and life. We believe in one God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the grave, and is coming again. We believe salvation is a gift of grace received through faith in Him, not something earned by good behavior or church attendance. And we believe the Holy Spirit is at work today, growing ordinary people into the likeness of Christ. If you'd like to talk any of that through, we would genuinely enjoy the conversation.
How we try to live
Four commitments that shape the way we do church together.
Teach the whole Bible
Chapter by chapter, verse by verse, including the parts that are hard to hear. Scripture sets the agenda, not the news cycle.
Keep the door open
Every seat is a guest seat. We would rather be interrupted by a newcomer than protect a comfortable routine.
Care for one another
Meals after a surgery, prayer in a hard season, a ride when the car won't start. Church is a body, not an audience.
Serve Conyers
We want this town to be measurably better because this congregation is in it — quietly, practically, and without a spotlight.
